Gabe got his work Visa

Greetings,
We got a message via Peter that Gabe's Visa was ready in Chicago and good for 30 days on Friday. Gabe started searching for fares and found a cheap flight leaving Saturday (the next day) and returning on Tuesday. We decided that he should go and get it over with. So he packed in a craze and got up early on Saturday, took the train to Madrid and flew to Chicago. It all worked fine. We just hoped the message was correct. Luckily it was, and he called a few hours ago to say that he now has his Visa and if weather permits, he will be home on Tuesday.

We have had a good week.

Sleeping in Salamanca

The kids have had a hard time adjusting to the time change. They have been getting up around noon. Our goal is to get them up at 9:00 if we can keep them from talking until 2:00 in the morning.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Gabe has been in Salamanca since January 31st setting up our apartment and getting his work started. Peter, Clay, Ella and I arrived yesterday. Our apartment is large and has a beautiful view. The picture is the view from our living room window.
