We have been back in Salamanca for over a week. We are really enjoying the view from our apartment and exploring Salamanca. Soon it will be Semana Santa--the holy week with processions with the different stations of the cross. We are currently studying Spanish history and the history of Semana Santa. Next week we will be going to Galicia to see Santiago del Compostela.

Dear Eliza,
You are so sweet. I wish I could play with you in the plaza and run by the river. I will have so much fun that I really want to play with you. I would have so much fun if you came here. I do ABCs and coloring shapes, and cut shapes and read my poems. How is Max?
Eliza, I wish you could come her, but I have to stay here for a couple months. We are going on a trip and I am going to stay on a farm.
