When we first arrived in Salamanca, the view from our apartment amazed us ( look at the first blog entry). Our apartment is not fancy (look at another posting). We thought we had an amazing view since we were able to see the new cathedral and the tip top of the old cathedral. Last week we thought they were going to renovate a building and instead, they tore it down. It was a difficult process. The had to use pull it down piece by piece (Gabe was so fascinated that he could hardley tear himself away from the window and the destruction to go to work). They took the whole building down and now we have an even better view (see third picture).
